What temperature range do Fudiesel silicone hoses work in?

Oct 15th,2026 10 Views

The answer depends on the compound and the reinforcement rather than on one figure that applies to every hose. Silicone resists heat far better than rubber, but a hose that carries hot charge air, a hose exposed to radiant heat from a manifold and a hose in a cold climate intake do not face the same condition, and the peak temperature at the wall rather than the average under the hood is what limits service life. The compound family, the ply layup and the wall thickness all change the ceiling, and continuous exposure is harder on a hose than short peaks. Fudiesel therefore does not quote a blanket range. The actual working condition, fluid, peak and continuous temperature, and duty cycle are reviewed, and the compound and construction selected for that duty are written into the quotation.
