Fudiesel produces a boost tube upgrade kit for the 2020 to 2025 Chevrolet and GMC 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P. The factory charge pipe on these trucks is built to a cost and a weight target, and under sustained boost the original tube and its couplers are a common source of leaks at the joints and of restriction where the pipe changes section. The upgrade replaces the charge pipe with a larger bore tube that holds its diameter through the bends, supplied with the couplers and clamps needed to connect to the factory joints. Materials, finish and the layout of the pipework are agreed against the application before production, and the assembly is confirmed on the approved sample. Both complete kits and replacement sections can be supplied.
