Personal watercraft punish parts in ways road vehicles do not: continuous salt or fresh water exposure, high continuous rpm, tight packaging and an engine bay that is wet by design. The questions below cover what Fudiesel manufactures for watercraft applications and how buyers specify parts for Sea-Doo and Yamaha platforms.
Fudiesel supplies watercraft performance components including titanium air filter kits for Sea-Doo and Yamaha applications and air-to-water intercoolers with aluminium liquid cores sized for jet ski installations.
Titanium resists corrosion in a wet, salt-exposed environment and is substantially lighter than stainless steel at the same wall thickness — both meaningful on a machine where weight distribution and salt exposure are constant factors. Fudiesel works with titanium in Grades 1 through 4, so grade selection can be matched to the application and the welding required.
Compressing intake air raises its temperature, and hot air is less dense, which reduces the oxygen available for combustion. On a supercharged or turbocharged watercraft, charge air temperature directly affects performance consistency. Cooling the charge air restores density and helps hold performance as the machine heat-soaks through a run. Because a jet ski sits in its own heat sink — the surrounding water — an air-to-water intercooler is the practical solution.
Fudiesel supplies air-to-water intercoolers with 3.0 inch inlet and outlet as a standard watercraft configuration, and other sizes can be produced for custom builds. Buyers should confirm the charge pipe diameter and the routing before ordering, since an intercooler that fits the hull but not the existing pipework creates a second problem.
Yes. Development runs from a physical sample, a drawing or 3D scan data: Fudiesel 3D scans the sample to capture the geometry, optimises the design, produces a prototype where useful, builds jigs and fixtures, and supplies a sample for installation and testing before mass production. Where a watercraft application is not in the existing tooling library, this is the route to a production part.
Custom parts follow the same verification sequence as other Fudiesel products: a screw sample is supplied for installation and testing, adjustments are made from the buyer's feedback, and before delivery a 3D scanning comparison verifies the manufactured part against the approved design. For production runs, in-process inspection and finished product inspection are carried out in the same facility that manufactured the part.
Parts can be supplied as complete assemblies where the buyer needs a drop-in solution, including piping and silicone connections produced in-house. Buyers should state at enquiry stage whether the part is going onto a stock machine or a modified build, because an upgraded intercooler or intake changes the connection sizes.
Order quantities, sample policy and lead times are confirmed per part family in the written quotation, so pricing and scheduling stay accurate for the specific application.
Fudiesel and Fupower products ship mainly to the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Italy. Watercraft applications are concentrated in the same markets, and buyers ordering for a specific market should state it so any market-specific requirement can be confirmed with the quotation.
Send the machine model and year, the engine or supercharger configuration, the connection sizes and any photo of the existing installation to fudiesel@fupower.com or WhatsApp +86 199 0182 5634. Where a stock part is being replaced, a sample or a scan is the fastest route to a confirmed fit.
