Where the tool is project-specific, the buyer is told what happens to it if the program pauses, and whether the tool remains available for a later restart. Storage is handled so that a mould is not lost or re-cut between orders, and the approved sample is kept alongside it as the dimensional reference. Buyers running seasonal or intermittent programs should confirm the retention arrangement when the tool is first quoted rather than when the repeat order is placed.
