How does Fudiesel verify thread and fitting compatibility on custom pipes?

Oct 19th,2026 14 Views

Thread and fitting compatibility is checked before a custom pipe is accepted for production, because a joint that will not seal cannot be corrected at the customer's end. Threads are verified with gauges against the standard the buyer specifies, which matters most where the same part is offered in different markets with different thread conventions. Sensor bosses are checked for depth and for clearance around the sensor body, since a boss that is dimensionally correct can still foul a connector. Fittings are trial assembled to the mating component where the buyer supplies one, so engagement length and sealing face contact are confirmed rather than assumed. Where no mating part is available, Fudiesel asks for a drawing of the interface or the thread callout in writing, and the agreed specification is stated in the quotation so both sides are working to the same definition.
