Fudiesel produces intercooler hoses for the Mazda BT-50, and the BT-50 needs its own hoses even though it shares a platform with the Isuzu D-Max. The two vehicles run the same engine and driveline family, but the body and front-end sheet metal differ, and that difference moves the cooler, the bumper opening and the pipe path between turbocharger and intake. A hose molded to the D-Max routing will not sit correctly on a BT-50, because the length and bend angle at each joint are set by where the cooler sits behind that particular front end. The BT-50 hoses are therefore developed from the BT-50 itself, with bore, bead and bend taken from the original part. Reinforced silicone is used so the hose holds shape under boost and tolerates movement between engine and cooler. Installation follows the factory route with the original clamps.
