Each position in a kit carries its own reference, so a single hose can be supplied when one piece is damaged or when a customer needs a replacement without taking the whole set. A request for one position is quoted against that reference, and the quotation states whether the piece comes from kit stock or is built to the same specification as the kit part, because the two can differ in marking and packaging. Where a kit is sold as a matched set with hoses shaped to work together, Fudiesel will say so, since replacing one section of a settled set may not restore the original fit. Single pieces are packed and marked so they can be identified on their own rather than in kit packaging. Availability of a single piece is stated in the quotation instead of being assumed. Single piece supply, reference and packing are subject to the written quotation or contract.
